Chinese New Year

This is P's 2nd CNY celebration, and this time she is walking, eating on her own and doing the 恭喜恭喜 hand gesture. Have to say that we are very proud of her. Didn't really take any pictures of her this time round, as we are busy visiting, since my parents are in town. What a tiring CNY but enjoyable one to see that P playing with her cousins and aunties and not to mention that she loves her bakwa (always tot she is more of a vegetarian, obviously i m wrong).

坏蛋=聪明

P has not been well for the past wk, running nose and mild fever. ATM took leave on fri to spend time with P at home, he wouldnt have done it if my parents are not around... After lunch, ATM took her together with mom to Yu Guo for tuina. P has been the regular there, she will walk into the doctor's room and climb onto the chair, sometimes she will walk to 医师 and touch her legs.

P will move alot during her tuina session, till you get her attention on things. The auntie who doin the tuina for P told us that she is intelligent as 坏蛋和聪明是一起的. Sometimes i wish that she is less notti....

School Life

P has started childcare on the beginning of Feb. I m excited and yet sad to send her there. On her 1st day, she didnt cry a bit, but 2nd day onwards, she cried the moment i m out of her sight. She is suffering from separation anxiety, away from her comfort zone, to be with a group children and teachers she never meet before and not to mention she has to adhere to cc schedule. Poor P, it pain my heart to just hear her cry, like i had abundant her. Her teacher told me that P will settle down in abt 2 weeks and she is doing very well when i m nt ard. P 加油

The Big 2

Today we celebrated P's big 2, the journey has been challenging but rewarding. I have never knew that i've so much love to give to this little warrior, and she had taught me alot of life lessons. 2 years ago, P was borned 12 wk premature and had stayed in KKH for 64 days. 1 year ago, a few days before her birthday, she was on her 2 feet standing w/o support. 6 months ago, i sent her to childcare to learn to socialise with other kids. Today, my warrior can tell all the names of her little friends, singing nursery rhymes, even though is not very clear but i m very happy with the progress that she has make (I've learn nt to compare her with other kids of her age, as each kid is unique). My dear warrior can count from 1-10 in english and 1-2 in chinese, reciting A-L prefectly and she is quite independent, learning to remove n put on her clothes. All these accomplishment wouldnt have happened so soon if it werent for the teachers in CC, thank you.

P is Sick

P sounded very phlegmy last night, I m not very comfortable hearing that. It is a sign that she might be down with cough soon. Woke up this morning, her body temperature is a bit warm, but still sent her to nanny’s. Picked her up after work, nanny told me she is down with fever. Went home gave her some panadol, but fever don’t seem to go down, sponge her and she is crying, never seen her crying like that. She looked tired and vomited twice. Mother’s instinct told me that it is not right, wake up ATM and off to KKH. Her fever is high 38.9 degree and her breathing is fast, she was given Ventolin then off for her chest x-ray. Doctor told her that she has mild chest infection and P was given Brufen for her high fever. Doctor told us that she will be well in a few days, just to monitor her fever. Finally we get to leave KKH at 4am, and P is sleeping comfortably in the sling, and I felt so relief……
